Hettinger County needed to replace an old bridge in poor condition that was used to transport large farm equipment and grain trucks. Cost was the main concern of the project, and corrugated steel pipe was ultimately the most cost-effective solution that met the project’s needs. The removal of the existing bridge and the excavation process proved to be a challenge, but the culvert system was safely and successfully installed nonetheless.
