Shop Supervisor (Structural CNC Processing) | Lubbock, TX
LOCATION: Lubbock, TX
TrueNorth Steel is looking for a proven leader to join our team as the Shop Supervisor, leading our production on our structural product line. This position will provide leadership for their area of responsibility by coordinating with Team Leads and Planner/Schedulers prior to production launch dates; ensure that all assets are deployed/redeployed as to maximum efficiencies of every production order.

QC Inspector 1 | Billings, MT
LOCATION: Billings, MT
Responsible for inspecting products to ensure TrueNorth Steel meets quality, contract specifications, and meets external certification standards.
Buyer | Fargo, ND
LOCATION: Fargo, ND
TrueNorth Steel is looking for a Buyer in Fargo, ND, to oversee purchasing activities, including processing orders, supplier negotiations, and inventory management. Key responsibilities include purchasing raw materials, managing purchase orders, coordinating with departments to ensure timely delivery, and building relationships with vendors. The role requires strong organizational and communication skills, experience with ERP systems, and the ability to make sound purchasing decisions based on price and availability. A high school diploma or GED is required, with an associate’s degree or equivalent experience preferred, along with at least two years of purchasing experience, ideally in steel manufacturing.
Maintenance Tech | Rapid City, SD
TrueNorth Steel is hiring a Maintenance Technician in Rapid City, SD, to perform preventative and regular maintenance on equipment and grounds. Responsibilities include inspecting and servicing equipment, troubleshooting malfunctions, maintaining records of maintenance activities, and ensuring safety standards are met. The role requires mechanical knowledge, familiarity with electrical controls, and the ability to read technical manuals and troubleshoot issues. A high school diploma or GED is required, along with at least one year of industrial maintenance experience and a valid driver’s license.

Fargo Welder Loan Repayment Program
Your skills are in demand, let us pay you for that investment! This loan repayment program is designed to ease the burden of student loan payments, allowing you to keep your hard-earned money in your pockets.
The payments will be made every three months to your student loan lender, with a maximum payout of $17,000. Payments may not exceed $5,667 per year, or one-third of the applicant’s outstanding student loan principal balance at the time of application, whichever is less. Payments are made over 3 years.
