Why TrueNorth Steel

What Our Team Members Say

“I thank TNS for giving me the opportunity to attend the Master Graduate Leadership program. It means a lot to me to know that the company recognizes me and is willing to spend the time and money to improve my leadership skills. This program also gave me tools in which I can and will use in my personal life. How I can communicate and be with my wife and son. Being able to relax and enjoy them instead of pushing and doing things the way I want. I have seen their enjoyment and smiles now, this also brings joy to me and the family.”

It is a fun place to work. I get to learn different things all the time and the people are good to work with.

What part of your job do you enjoy the most?

I’ve done so many things since I started with TrueNorth Steel it is hard to say. I would say I enjoy assembling tanks – that has been fun. Also, I enjoy coming into every day and staying focused on the job.

What advice do you have for someone just starting out in your role?

Listen to your mentors. Do your best to learn as much as you can and as fast as you can while at the same time doing it the right way.

I like love to go camping in the Oakwood Lakes area here in South Dakota. I also enjoy going to the stock car races in the Miller, Aberdeen, and Watertown area.
