The Capitol Interchange Bridge is the replacement for existing north and southbound structures, which is the main thoroughfare of Helena on Interstate 15. This project included 168 Steel plate girders that were cut, spliced, fabricated, and shipped from our Billings, MT plant to a staging yard near the project. One unique aspect of this project is the fully automated de-icing system that is first in its class. TrueNorth Steel provided marshaling of girders from our partner staging yard to the final bridge location to ensure seamless and expedited installation.
