TrueNorth Steel recognized by Central Fabricators Association for Multiple 2021 Safety Awards

Each year, the Central Fabricators Association (CFA) recognizes select member companies for outstanding safety practices. Upon submission of records of yearly totals of hours worked, reportable injuries, and lost days, member companies may be eligible for CFA Safety Award recognition. Awards are given to the company and/or location reporting the Lowest Annual Frequency Rate.

 TrueNorth Steel was recently presented with seven CFA Safety Awards for outstanding safety records in several of its manufacturing locations in 2021. Four TrueNorth Steel manufacturing facilities—Mandan ND, Rapid City SD, Fargo ND and West Fargo ND— took home awards for Zero Lost Days [due to injury in 2021]. 

Additionally, TrueNorth Steel earned three First Place Safety Record awards. The West Fargo manufacturing location won for Category 1 (less than 50,000 hours worked), the Rapid City location won for Category 2 (50,000 to 100,000 hours worked), and the Mandan location won for Category 3 (100,000 to 150,000 hours worked). 

The CFA announced its 2021 Safety Awards recipients in Indianapolis, IN on May 2, 2022, during their Annual Meeting.
