SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Director of Marketing will plan, develop, and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to drive brand awareness and sales growth. SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES

The Quality Supervisor is responsible for following the Quality Management System (QMS) policies and procedures to ensure customer expectations are met. This includes both Quality Control and some Quality Assurance activities in support of all departments for cross-functional success. This position also includes the supervision of the Quality Control Inspectors at the site as per the Organizational Chart.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Supervise and provide leadership for the Quality Control (QC) Inspectors.

  • Complete incoming, in-process, and final inspections
  • Document and segregate non-conforming material and workmanship
  • Record Non-Conformances, Corrective Actions, and Preventive Actions into the SharePoint Quality Database

  • Review Non-Conformances, Corrective Actions, and Preventive Actions from the SharePoint Quality Database with Facility Management to identify and implement continuous improvement
  • Verify Material Test Reports (MTRs) and similar documents for required information upon receipt of materials
  • Maintain calibration and verification of tools and measuring equipment
  • Maintain AWS CSI and applicable certification
  • Ensure Welding Specification Procedures (WPS) are current and in place for projects
  • Supervise and/or conduct Welder Qualification Test Reports (WQTR) to AWS and/or ASME
  • Maintain the Welder Continuity Log

  • Represent the company, as needed, on field issues requiring investigation and decisions associated with product quality and conformance.

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES The Quality Assurance Compliance Administrator (QACA) will have the responsibility of Audit coordination with support from other Internal Auditors to effectively manage the internal and external audit program. This includes all internal audits for each Quality Management System (QMS). Additionally, the QACA will track the Costs of Quality related to each QMS certification and/or licensing (AISC, API, STI, UL, PLASTEEL, NTPEP, City of LA, etc.) and manage the compliance and effectiveness of the documentation within each QMS to the applicable standard. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Communicates safety policies and procedures in compliance with TrueNorth Steel corporate standards.
  • Supports local supervisors and communicates programs for managers and supervisors to train employees in work site safety practices, fire prevention, and correct handling techniques for chemicals, toxins, equipment, and other materials.
  • Inspects facilities organization to detect existing or potential accident and health hazards, determines corrective or preventative measures where indicated, and follows up to ensure measures have been implemented.

ESSENTIAL POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Carefully read manuals of equipment and interpret them to understand how to operate and maintain them properly
  • Inspect newly acquired equipment upon arrival, checking every part to be sure that they are working and meet up with industry standards before they are put to use in the factory
  • Read work orders to confirm the production task is within the capacity of the factory’s equipment in order to abide by manufacturers’ guidelines; make provision for alternate equipment to handle big production tasks to prevent wearing out

  • Enroll for continuous training and education on technical maintenance practices so as to be updated with the latest maintenance techniques and be able to keep equipment in the best possible conditions
  • Carry out routine servicing of equipment as part of measures to prevent breakdowns and malfunctions, which could thwart production activities, including but not limited to production equipment/machines, forklifts, trucks, tractors, trailers, etc.
  • Keep record of maintenance activities to track the lifespan of equipment. When equipment breakdown continues too frequently after repeated fixing, it will need to be replaced
  • Troubleshoot equipment to determine specific malfunctioning issues and tackle them accordingly
  • Communicate with management or clients to inform them about equipment faults and best maintenance techniques to implement for maximum performance
  • Prioritize daily work orders according to their level of importance
  • Assist in mechanical and electrical maintenance to equipment as required.
  • Assist in building and grounds maintenance.
  • Maintain clean and safe work areas.
  • Perform Lockout-tagout (LOTO) and complete proper documentation when needed.

Fargo Welder Loan Repayment Program

TrueNorth Steel is offering a loan repayment program to individuals who accept welding positions at their Fargo-based sites.

Your skills are in demand, let us pay you for that investment! This loan repayment program is designed to ease the burden of student loan payments, allowing you to keep your hard-earned money in your pockets.

The payments will be made every three months to your student loan lender, with a maximum payout of $17,000. Payments may not exceed $5,667 per year, or one-third of the applicant’s outstanding student loan principal balance at the time of application, whichever is less. Payments are made over 3 years.
