TrueNorth Steel is making news as the announcement of the key contractors have been named for the upcoming new construction build for the St. Vincent Hospital in Billings, MT—a multi-million dollar five-year project slated to replace the downtown St. Vincent hospital.

A recent article in the Billings Gazette explained that many of the sub-contractors for this landmark project are native to Montana. Click here to read the Gazette article. TrueNorth Steel’s Billings manufacturing facility has been a staple of the Billings community since 1953 and employs around 100 people. TrueNorth Steel’s Director of Product Development, Tom Prill, addressed the Billings media on May 25, 2023 regarding TrueNorth Steel’s involvement in the St. Vincent Hospital project. He commented on the special significance of participating in this project given the proximity of the project to TrueNorth Steel’s Billings manufacturing facility. Prill stated, “Our employees and local suppliers rarely get to see the products they manufacture become assembled into final structures, so having the ability to drive up 27th Street and watch this project take shape will be truly extraordinary for our team.” Click here to take a look at the full video!
