TrueNorth Steel is proud to celebrate Johnny Rommesmo for being recognized as one of the region’s top professionals under 40. The honor highlights his leadership, commitment to the company’s legacy, and the impact he makes every day.
From 2021 through 2024, he served as Site Manager at multiple TrueNorth Steel locations, building expertise in manufacturing and fabrication while forging strong relationships across teams.
In January 2024, he stepped into the role of Director of Fabrication & Manufacturing. He now oversees operations across the company, guiding initiatives that improve profitability, quality, culture, and continuous improvement.
As the third generation of the Fargo-based, family-owned company, he carries forward a legacy of craftsmanship, integrity, and community. Passionate about innovation and continuous improvement, he also prioritizes supporting those around him, living the values of hard work, humility, and care for others every day.
