For over 80 years, TrueNorth Steel has prioritized the safety of its employees, contractors, and customers. This commitment to safety was recently recognized by the Association of General Contractors of North Dakota (AGC of ND) at their 75th Annual Convention.
TrueNorth Steel’s Fargo Corrugated Steel Pipe (CSP), West Fargo, and Mandan fabrication facilities were each recognized for remaining below the national incident/injury rate, exemplifying our commitment to people and employee safety. Fargo CSP also won the First-Place award for having the lowest incident/injury rate across all AGC of ND members in the Associate Division (under 100,000 hours worked).
Darrin Galde, TrueNorth Steel’s Director of Safety, commented, “These awards are a testament to our team members’ continued dedication to safety. I have been on the AGC Safety Committee for over twenty years, and it’s truly an honor to receive a first-place award. This collective effort helps us ensure that every employee returns home safely at the end of each workday.”

TrueNorth Steel has been a proud member of the AGC of ND for many years. This association is made up of more than 400 suppliers, contractors, and other industry professionals within the state and actively works toward cultivating a safe, competitive, and dynamic construction market in North Dakota.
