Since joining TrueNorth Steel in 2012, Denise has advanced through multiple leadership roles, bringing more than 25 years of construction and manufacturing experience to the organization. As CFO, she integrates financial discipline with operational decision-making, enhancing performance and driving sustainable growth across the company’s 800+ team members. Her leadership has been instrumental in shaping TrueNorth Steel’s financial and operational direction.

Denise is also widely recognized as a cultural leader. She introduced and championed the Game Changer leadership program at TrueNorth Steel, helping embed its principles into the company’s foundation. Today, every employee completes a two-day Game Changer course, with more than 100 advancing to the four-day Master Grad program. The initiative fosters accountability, consistency, and a culture of personal responsibility, trust, and positivity.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Denise demonstrates a strong commitment to community service. She actively supports local organizations, including United Way of Cass Clay, Habitat for Humanity, and Giving Hearts Day, encouraging team members to give back in meaningful ways. Through mentorship, volunteerism, and steady leadership, she reinforces that success is measured not only by results, but by how we support people and strengthen the communities around us.
