Long-Term Reliability Drives Award-Winning Results
In the early 1980s, TrueNorth Steel fabricated and delivered a corrugated steel pipe (CSP) culvert to support a vital oilfield access road for Scout Energy Partners in Medora, ND. The original culvert, fabricated by TrueNorth Steel, was installed in during the first North Dakota oil boom by Hlebechuk Construction. Despite the region’s harsh, acidic soil conditions, the original CSP exceeded its 30-year service life, a testament to the long-term quality and strength of steel solutions. With the culvert at the end of its functional lifespan, a replacement was necessary.
Minimizing Downtime & Maximizing Results
Due to the time-sensitive nature of the project and two significant rain events approaching, TrueNorth Steel operated under tight deadlines to fabricate and deliver the new pipe. Viewing challenges as opportunities, we successfully delivered the new CSP on time and ensured a seamless installation process by coordinating delivery and collaborating with the on-site team from Hlebechuk Construction.
