Operating on 3,370 acres, Coal Creek Station is the largest power plant in North Dakota and is the third largest producer of coal ash in the US. Coal Creek Station was the testing site for “Dryfining™”, which aims to improve fuel quality, decrease volatile gas emissions as well as reduce operating and maintenance expenses.
